I never understood the arguments against replacing Pierce Brosnan's avatar with Daniel Craig's "because Daniel Craig wasn't in the Goldeneye movie". Neither were Oddjob or Jaws or any of the other multiplayer characters, but they get a pass? This game will be great.

Honestly, people still have in their heads that MMOs have to be like WoW and its clones, so they think what ArenaNet is promising is impossible. But GW2 is going to be an entirely different paradigm. The entire structure of the game is different, so it doesn't need to fit into the WoW mold.
The people who are cynical and doubt they can deliver are obviously not familiar at all with ArenaNet. They have a fantasic reputation. GW2 will deliver, I guarantee it.
I don't think it's at all fair to complain and/or be concerned when we learn that Feature X from GW will not be in GW2.
GW2 is not a GW expansion or a new campaign. It is an entirely new and different game. With it comes an entirely new and unique gameplay paradigm. So what if we don't have secondary professions in GW2? We don't know enough about the gameplay to make any real judgements from that. The whole game is surely designed around single-profession characters, just like GW was designed around dual-professions. This isn't a gimp in any way because it will be like nothing was there to begin with.
