yeah, those are rebranded acer machines from the last few quarters. when i see that model, i automatically consider it an Acer until i look closely at it. i was tempted to purchase them a few time with their sub $400-500 prices. and they were always well reviewed, at least on Newegg. so if it follows that this is the same machine, then you won't be doing too bad in purchasing it.

I'm in the Army and can tell you that a rank is pretty much equivelent to having that name. Now if Master Chief's name is somewhere on the uniform (it's not) or if he was surrounded by those he knew more closely (they're dead), you might hear his name more. But lacking that, most soldiers address others by their ranks. So I find nothing wrong at all with just Master Chief. That said, I think Metroid's Samus or even Mario and Luigi and Sonic as the dumbest names ever!

i know this is an xbox360 addon, but my question is, will this thing be able to connect to a PC, or maybe even to a tv directly like a standalone player? that would make this a definitely better deal over PS3 or any other blueray player.
