He very clearly changes the pitch while first demonstrating the freelook by holding A. He looks down a little bit. The rest of the video he only changes by moving the remote left and right. So yes it is possible to look up and down. As far as dual-wielding, he has Y (change weapon) mapped as D-pad up, so the dual-wield, hold D-pad up while walking over a dual-wieldable weapon. Then to fire, use Z (otherwise a grenade button). Have you even played Halo 2?

I agree completely. If your idea of great video quality is svideo at best, and your sound system is a $60 DPLII system from Wal-Mart, having DVD playback qualities in a Wii would be great. If a Wii is insufficient for you (if you like the upscaling or the SPDIF) then chances are you already have dedicated DVD playback hardware (upscaling DVD players run about $40 nowadays). It would be nice though to have a little box that plays Wii, Gamecube, VC games and DVDs that I could take on vacation and leave my better equipment here at the house.

If you're going to go down that vein, then digital sound is only a single "channel," since it is a digitally encoded audio stream that is decoded into 6 audio channels at the receiver. Dolby Pro Logic II is phase-encoded into two "channels" and is decoded into 6 audio channels at the receiver. I won't argue that the sound quality of Dolby Digital is superior to Dolby Pro Logic II, but the latter does provide 6-channel surround sound at a cheaper cost.

Wait a minute. It's 2007. Don't you people realize what Dolby Pro Logic II is? Just because a console doesn't have SPDIF capabilities doesn't mean that it doesn't have surround sound capabilities.

Yes, BMI is not a calculation of body fat *per se*, but simply a relation between a person's weight divided by the square of their height (kg/m^2). A person who is a bodybuilder will be just as overweight according to BMI as someone who eats a lot and does not exercise at all.

If someone wants to maintain a normal BMI, they have to take into account their current body fat and muscular mass to determine if they should exercise more/less and eat more/less.

So just because someone has a "high" BMI doesn't mean they have a lot of body fat.

FF7 is not 2GB. There is a *lot* of repeated content on all three discs. There were some experiments done a while back with disc swapping and there are a lot of FMVs that exist on all three discs. In fact the game *itself* is complete on all three discs. The only difference are story-specific FMVs (for example, the elevator ride FMV in Junon is on all three discs).

One alternative we saw work pretty well for Wing Commander Prophecy GBA was to recreate FMVs using the game engine. A lot of FMVs for FF7 could be redone in the game engine and save a lot of room.
