@kramer

How can I get this on iPhone?

webOS 1.4.5 finally coming today on Sprint? (update: it's out!)

Aug 11th 2010 7:04AM (Engadget Mobile)
I know a number of webOS users, and none of them care. They are all happy with their phones, because they aren't obsessed geeks. They happily use their phones for managing their lives and *gasp!* making calls!

Funny. It DOES have two capacitive touch screens!

@voodoochild

It is also more than twice the machine of an iPad. It is worth more than twice an iPad to run real programs on it, and video conference, and visit the Internet the way it was intended, complete with all the plugins I could want, and play any video format without converting through iTunes.

Oh, and if you beef up the iPad, it costs $800+. This isn't much more than that.

No. Courier uses an active digitizer pen as a form of input. This isn't what courier would be, cause it isn't courier.

Yoko Ono regarding Beatles on iTunes: 'Don't hold your breath'

@Doctor Comrade

You may not like them, but 200 years from now Beatles will still be played on the radio. They are timeless, probably moreso than the classical composers we hold in high regard today.

iPhone's App Store 'Try Before You Buy' section isn't exactly what you're hoping for

Apple products are rarely what they sound like. I have yet to find one that is magical in reality, and the retina display does works with my retina the exact same way as every other display.

Hexes change the strategy immensely. As someone who has been playing hex-based and grid-based games for the better part of 26 years, I'll take hexes every time.

Funny, the team at Kotaku found the changes deep and engaging, the game streamlined and easier, not to mention better-looking. Overall, a solid step for the series and not 'more of the same'.

Yet with Civ, more of the same would have been just fine. The game is damn near perfect anyways.

OQO crawls back from the dead, releasing Model 03 in China this month (Updated)

@Matthew

Yes. Active Wacom pressure-sensitive digitizer. Ever written on a small piece of paper? Same. OneNote and EverNote make the device into an endless piece of paper, with an Internet connection.

I've had the OQO for three years. Always-on Sprint data connection provides screaming fast speeds. Digitizer is great for taking notes or *gasp* ARTWORK! Real keyboard, real programs. Yeah, I paid a bit of cash for it when it came out, but the thing was built to last, so I've gotten my money's worth out of it.

Oh, and I'm still using it.
