There was a study (google it) in the new England Journal of medicine that showed approximately 5/10,000 people who were overweight had a legitimate thyroid/medical problem. The rest just comsumed too many calories for their lifestyle.

So anybody tells you its their metabolism etc THERE WERE NO FAT PEOPLE in slave labour camps so WAKE UP.

Just an FYI, but Wal-mart in Canada is selling arcades for $177 Canadian (and with the 20% diff in US money), means if you live near the border you can get a 360 REALLY cheap - about $140 US.

Well as an outsider looking in, you're screwed if you do and screwed if you dont.

From my perspective (outside the US), Mcain will keep the status quo (be it good or bad). Just the way it is. However the world is going into recession so not sure if this is good or bad.

Now Obama is the wildcard. He's like Clinton (slick willy) remember him? Smooth talker, good lookin fellow who can divert the true question to whatever he wants to and people lap it up (you all are sheep after all, so the new 'messiah' will lead you to the 'promised' land.

I really dont know, but change isn't always a good thing. He does have ties with some 'out there' organizations (and its funny, but being black means his defenders will immediately use the race card when his shady ties are brought up, but he's smart enough NOT to use it openly himself LOL :) Yeh, he's good!!

From what I've seen of his foreign policy is REALLY bad and I know lets all get the single mothers working etc is great, but the WORLD matters today, not just the US. Heck, you're borrowing billions from CHINA for Christ sake!!!

I've seen gameplay and I hope not to upset alot of peeps, its not that much better than GOW (which was great for its time btw).

GOW 2 is a 'slightly' upgraded GOW. No MP yet, so we cant tell that part, but I have a feeling it'll be like Halo 2. Great online playing, but the SP was not as revolutionary as the first title. It reminds me of just another level or 2 of GOW.

He'll be back .. Money talks and he'll soon realize Metal Gear is what he's known for. Other than that, he'll be flop at most everything else. There are the knob riders who'll eat whatever sh.it he throws out, but other than that, he's a one trick pony - Metal Gear (which isnt necessarily a bad thing).

Also Sony NEEDS another Metal Gear game. If #4 was it, now what? MG wars (ala Halo wars?). haha

Sony needs this next game. Sony is built on hype (4D, Dual 1080p HDMI ports, Full BC, etc etc).. So just the thought of another keeps the fanboys salivating.

Got a lvl 70, 6/8 Tier 6, Seasons 2-3 PVP gear and I dont play anymore... Its now boring...

I think THINKING about playing is more exciting than sitting there doing dailies to get gold...

Once you've done Hyjal, BT and are in sunwell, its super boring... this group go there when Felmyst goes south, then everyone run to tree after flames etc etc.. Just memorize some crap and you're good to go.

Heck PVP is ok, but so skewed its gotten out of hand also...

Leveling and the thought of getting to 70 was the draw, now its just drudgery.

Anyways, nice cinematics... If ONLY their games looked as nice when actually playing them... Now THAT would be cool..

In regards to BD or HD-DVD, I just bought ANOTHER HD tv (first a 65" sony, now a 61" Sammy LED DLP - Yes I own 2).. No offense, but you people touting the differences are just blowing smoke. My upconverting DVD player is almost as nice as a BD or HD player (have both kiddies - nice to have lots of disposable $$$)..

As for digital distribution, just look at X264 and what its done.. MKV anyone? Yeh, thought so..

Guess I should torrent or newsgroup ANOTHER BD movie in a few hours (its only 8GB now, play it out the DVI port of laptop and use a Soundblaster LIVE USB audio device to my SS).. FULL HD with SS... FREE....LOLOLOLOL...

Sony's been trying to get a proprietary format for music OR video for DECADES.. They just WONT give up until that dream is realized.

Not sure if most of you are aware or remember the DRM issues with sony's music CD's. But remember now that since it seems that blu-ray maybe the 'format' of choice in the future, that they have stated in the past at Sony that they will ONLY (in the near future) play blu-ray movies to an HDMI PORT THAT HAS THEIR SECURITY on it.

DRM city. That means, unless your HDMI TV has the correct security features ON THAT HDMI PORT, the BLU RAY PLAYER will NOT PLAY THE DISC!!! Thats right, they will LOCK everything down like mad.

You wanted it you moron's. YOU GOT IT. SONY'S DRM up your WAZZZZOOOOOO...lol....
