I don't understand this negativity. Isn't it good news that the prince of persia movie will be a movie with a established director and a big budget to make it look good?

Those complaining that the story is going to suck now are kidding themselves. It isn't like The Sands of Time already had a deep storyline with interesting characters. Not to say it was a bad storyline, but it certainly wasn't anything that can be fucked up. Sands of Time was mostly a great action game and that's probably what the movie is going to be, an nice action flick.

Yeah, you can't get True HD audio from an optical output (as far as I've heard), you need the HDMI 1.3 for that. Since Microsoft didn't include it, it isn't possible to watch your HD-DVD movies with TrueHD audio on the 360. For the guy who said that you can't get 5.1 sound (and thus TrueHD) from an HDMI anyway when it's hooked up to your TV, that's also true. What you should be doing however (if you have the budget) is hooking it up to your av-receiver.

I actually think it's more likely that they are focusing on Resistance, because that's their big launch FPS. Showing more of Killzone 2 would obviously steal most of Resistance's thunder. We'll see more of Killzone 2 at some big event after the launch, if it can live up to the E3 2005 trailer is another question...

Actually, we Europeans share Region 2 with Japan atm. But this doesnt mean we can import Japanese games, only movie DVD's. So I dont think the change will have any impact whatsoever for gamers.
