Blizzard responds to complaints over Diablo 3 connection requirement

Thanks, Blizzard! I really didn't have the time or money for another game. Now I don't have to worry. :)

Latest Assassin's Creed teaser hints at Istanbul setting [update]

I'm also a bit miffed. I'm sick of this timeframe, and don't expect to be playing AC in some 1500s Turkish city. I was really hoping for a Victorian-era Springheel Jack sort of assassin--top hat, cane-with-hidden-sword, cloak, foggy nights and opium bars.

But a dusty mid-eastern city? Didn't already do that once?

12 Days of Joyswag: Fable 3 rucksack with Collector's Edition, book, and controller

The only big bug I found in Fable 3 was this weird money glitch that occurred right after I became king.

But the morphing weapons were *cool*.

Shadow Guardian preview: Among thieves

Dec 7th 2010 9:03AM (Joystiq)
Maybe someone has mentioned this already, but...

It's seems pretty obvious to me that what Gameloft does is develop a game (like this one), then approach a company and say, "Do you want to license this and stick the 'Uncharted' name on it? We'll cut you a deal and we'll all make mad bucks!!1!"

If the company says "Yes", then we get Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles, Prince of Persia, Driver or Splinter Cell.

If the company says "No", then we get Shadow Guardian, Hero of Sparta, NOVA, Dungeon Hunter or Gangstar.

Seems like a great business model to me. If we waited for Blizzard to create a Diablo for the iPhone (or, heaven forbid, MS to produce Halo on the iPhone!), we'd never have it. I'd rather have a very well-done knock off than no game at all.
