I love these more serious discussions. I'm 26, so maybe that has something to do with it.
In regards to this episode:
I understand giving both sides a voice and I was disappointed that OnLive didn't respond to the requests for an interview but I really, really disliked hearing Shawn Freeman speak.
All I heard was "Consumers, consumers, investors, immersive, immersive, deep relationships."
Corporate drivel. Ugh. I am not a consumer, I am a person and your company does not have a deep relationship with me. Does he not hear what he is saying? Deep relationship? Have we been dating for 7 years and you know my parents and hang out with my friends?
You sell boxes in a store. That's all you are to me.
Sorry for the rant but corporate people fire me up when they talk like this.
@vix Funny, I really disliked the old "I smoke 12 cartons a day" Cole. I also liked the "New Cole" before they listened to fans and went back to the old Cole. I won't be buying Infamous 2.
Because Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo will not drop prices. It will be the exact same situation as it is now except no opportunity for used game buyers or sellers.
If the devs were in charge I'm sure prices would drop. They would have sales and all the great things Steam has but the publishers and manufacturers will be the ones running it and that's no good for anybody.
Mine is quite useful. In fact, it's my only computer
As far as this mag goes, I think it's a great start. There are some design issues here and there but they beat all the other lazy ass mags to market so they have that going. I haven't gotten a chance to read it in it's entirety yet.
That's ridiculous. I have gotten a ton of play time out of all three of those games. In fact I'm still playing the hell out of Mirror's Edge as well.
I happen to find multiplayer extremely simplistic. It's run and shoot d00dz. At least with single player you have the opportunity to experience a mediocre story that can justify your actions.
Where is the Homefront review guys? It worries me when reviews are held back until the last possible moment. It says the publisher isn't confident in what they published.

Oh, I'm sorry. She is a positive representation and that doesn't make for page views.
