Needs more Bandage Girl.

Walmart loses its mind, offers third-party Wii Remote and game for $35

@Shortbuser

Actually, watch the link in the article for the Power A Wii Pro Pack. It's a tiny Wiimote, much smaller than Nintendo's, and the Joystiq reviewer really, really liked it.

In for one + Epic Mickey.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 coming to O2 UK in September

I'm still waiting for AT&T to offer the X10 in the U.S.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 has been rooted, all is right with the world

@eDan
The X10 is still not out yet in the U.S. under AT&T. Official stance is that is "still in testing". It should arrive any week now. My 2007 SE w810i bit the big one a month ago, and I'm using my old 2003 t616 until the X10 arrives on our shores. Painful.

Portal is free, and here's a cute video about it

Portal 2 will have a full single-player story arc/game. Portal 2 will also feature co-op levels, where you play as two cute little (dating?) robots made up of bits and pieces of GLaDOS intelligence orbs and gun turret torsos. It was all exposed in the ARG that VALVe unleashed a few weeks ago.

LGJ: Does PS3 Firmware 3.21 come with a refund?

Apr 15th 2010 4:13PM (Joystiq)
I too am a launch PS3 owner. I have not yet updated the firmware. I have not installed Linux (yet), and I may never will, but taking away/uninstalling/removing a feature from a purchased item's feature list is absolute garbage. It's like removing the Pause button from a VCR -- it's not needed, but a helluvalotta people would be pissed if this happened.

I seldomly connect to the PSN, I hardly ever buy any DLC, I never game online, and if I want to buy a game that needs 3.21 or later, I just might go and buy a Slim, keeping my launch PS3 as I see fit, not Sony, should I feel the need to install Linux sometime down the line.

The long and storied history of Aperture Science

Mar 25th 2010 3:02AM (Joystiq)
With all of the renewed interest in all things Valve/Portal/Half-Life (as if the interest ever wanes), I played through Portal and Half-Life 2: Episodes 1 and 2 recently.

And I'll be a Monkey's Uncle if that Aperture logo don't give me the hebbie-geebies more than ever.

If there's one thing that Valve does well, it's that they keep things mysterious. And there's nothing more mysterious in the video game world than the connection of Portal to Half-Life.

My frothing demand remains frothed.

Name that PlayStation Motion Controller!
