Warmachine game attacking PC, consoles
Dec 1st 2009 3:30AM (Joystiq)I imagine the scope of the entire Warmachine would is too broad (what with six WM factions and four Hordes factions). It'll most likely focus on Cygnar and Khador's warring.
To those of you who don't know what Warmachine is, it's a table top miniatures game where you have warcasters (like wizard generals) who have twelve-foot tall steam-powered robots called Warjacks. You also have your infantry and solo models that do specific things. It's actually a very interesting world, it all takes place in a land called Western Immoren. The way it was explained to me is this: It's a world where steam technology and gunpowder were invented say 500 years earlier than it was. It has elements of Steampunk and fantasy. You have steam-powered robots fighting, pirates, zombies, elves, wizards, dragons (sort of). It has the potential of being an awesome game. It is far more interesting a world (in my opinion) than World of Warcraft.
