OK I've been trying to enter this code for the last 10-15 minutes and I'm stumped. Either somebody already redeemed it and didn't let us know, or I'm a complete bloke who doesn't understand a British accent. Either way, would somebody post the code after they figure it out so I can see where I went wrong?

Love the podcast, it always starts my weekend off right!

We hear you, no more Wii at the inn

Nov 20th 2006 12:50PM (Joystiq)
To #15: Were you at the Anderson, IN Meijer, cause that sounds dangerously familiar?

Anyway, I drove 1/2 an hour down Indiana's I-69 (best interstate name ever) because 2 guys walked in and took the last 2 spots in line at my local meijer about 30 seconds before me. Anyway, got there Saturday about 2 AM and got my wristband and was guaranteed the #3 system as long as I didn't leave the store. So I just chilled in Meijer for 23 hours. About 5 PM they called us all into the food center and of the 17 people with wristbands, only 6 of us were still in the store! Kudos to Meijer for bringing out coffee, donuts, and power strips to us, as well as letting us look at the games/accessories and put our names on them. Also, I dunno if anyone else did this, but Meijer had a sale where if you bought the Wii and an extra Wiimote you got a nunchuck for free. Plus they had a computer glitch so if you bought 2 games, the second one was 1/2 price (left over from a sale that was supposed to end Saturday night maybe?) All in all I got my Wii, Monkey Ball, Zelda, and an extra wiimote/nunchuck for $345! Waiting 23 hours in Meijer, not that great, but it was worth it

Flashpoint: Sony Style in Boston

This is the same thing that happened to me at Best Buy in Muncie, IN. I got to the store at about 10pm Wednesday night and was told that nobody would be allowed to line up on the property until 8am Thursday morning but that we could stay in our cars or camp in the field next door at our own risk. Well by 11 there were about 30 of us so we numbered off in the order we got there. When the store manager showed up at 3:30 to set up rope for line there were like 30-40 other people sitting in the parking lot right across from the door who had shown up since we had and the manager made the announcement that after he left at 4 it was up to the Muncie PD and how they wanted to handle it although they had been instructed not to let people line up until 8. I talked to him about or list and he said that as a manager he didn't care and it didn't matter, it would be as organized or disorganized as we made it. Well as soon as his car left the parking lot 40 people bum rush the door and I wasn't one of them. I waited in my car until about 6:30am and never saw a cop so I left, hoping to get a system somewhere else, but of course I didn't.

Toys R Us: Tomorrow Wii pre-order part 2

Nov 11th 2006 7:48PM (Joystiq)
I've called 3 Toys R Us stores in Indiana (Muncie, Indianapolis, and South Bend) and they all said that they weren't taking any more preorders, although the one in South Bend said that if they did it would be in a flyer...
