I think you just touched on the aspect of the Wii that dissapoints me most. Don't get me wrong, I love my Wii (not an innuendo), but I really get tired of the half-baked efforts that most developers put out for it. In fact, I think that this is where the Wii gets its reputation for being an underwhelming console. During the Gamecube days, third parties may have not put out as great of games as Nintendo did, but the graphical quality of most of these games approached the graphical quality of Nintendo's games. Now, it feels like many third party developers don't even begin to utilize the Wii's capabilities. Anyway, this rant wasn't really directed at Epic Mickey. I actually have high hopes for that game.

Yes, some of the same people who worked on the other xeno games are working on this one, but the developers have stated repeatedly that this is not a sequel. At best, this is a spiritual successor to the xeno games. That's no reason not to buy it, though. This game is shaping up to be awesome.

Yes, there are some anti-piracy folk who may be hypocrites, but what difference does that make. It certainly doesn't make their arguments any less true. Pirates who try to justify their actions with a tu quoque fallacy really get on my nerves.

Same here, man. For me, SA2:B was the best sonic game (though this might be because it was the first gamecube game I owned and it was the first time I had played a sonic game) and was the last great sonic game. Likewise, I never could get into SA1.

Sorry Madden, but where I live the opinions are vastly different. That said, I think that a lot of people will be rooting for the Saints this year because they are the percieved underdogs. Either way, I'm hoping for a really good game!

For you, maybe. For people with glasses it's just a pain in the butt to do right. Seriously, why couldn't the facepalm be replaced with a dramatic sigh or an ear-splitting scream of agony. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that it isn't a suitable method of expressing one's disbelief, but having to mangle your glasses every time you do one gets annoying. Speaking of which, does anyone actually facepalm themselves or do they just post asci art and call it good?

Dang, that trailer was freakin' awesome. Seriously, Capcom has really been stepping with their recent trailers.
