Because really, I can't think of a more effective gun than one that fires Jesus Christ out of it.

Small guns really are the way to go. Big guns are too cumbersome for most encounters. You can pick up energy weapons fairly early on, but they don't stack up to the sheer number of small arms and ammo in the game. Melee combat is alright, but dangerous against stronger enemies.

Sweet! I usually don't head through Metro Center, but I've got to switch trains there after I leave work tonight, so I'll be sure to keep an eye out.

Aside from the fact that James Patterson is woefully ignorant about video games, this may be a very lucrative property on the Wii. Those housewives and grandmothers who bought the system for Wii Sports and nothing else may finally have another game to purchase.

This may actually be enough to get my mother-in-law-to-be to buy a Wii.

As far as the Wii is concerned, I cannot recommend the Nyko charging station enough. Not only do you save money on batteries, but the rubberized grip on the included battery door makes the remote much easier to hold.

In the last quarter of the video there's a short shot of Homer jumping. In the background you can see some mushrooms that have the same color scheme as the mushroom power-ups from the original Super Mario Bros.
