Pretty Cool.

Many PA'ers have known about its existence for a few years. Last time I tried to venture close the State Police were actively looking to keep people out of the area. They were cool about it but it was clear that they were on orders to keep people far away.

There are a variety of sections of the PA Turnpike that have been moved over the years. The old sections were simply abandoned and are being re-purposed. The national guard uses some for storage, the State Police did convert one into a rifle range, and multiple movies have been filmed along it (The Road for example).

Yup - probably closer to 40 knowing what a fully loaded out GTI goes for.

Interiors aside:

The last one was aggressive and had presence. Especially when it first came out, they were tough to miss but they achieved this status without being gaudy. It moved design language of the time forward.

This doesn't contribute anything. Its derivative of everything else on the road right now and the proportions are, at best, awkward. In a sense, this is the car they should have been making in the early part of the last decade while the outgoing model fits our world better, now.

I find it interesting that everyone on here is being accused of being a Chrysler hater by simply saying that they hate one car. That doesn't make me a Chrysler hater, it makes me a hater of this design.

I find it very surprising (suspicious?) how many Chrysler fans appeared out of no where (considering the beating they normally take on here) for this vehicle when the design is, at best, polarizing.

Not that the "average" anyone can afford a TT-RS, but I would guess that the "average" facebook user is MORE likely to be able to afford one than the "average" non-facebook user. Here come the statistics...

Now we don't have average incomes but we know that facebook users tend to be more highly educated than the general public and we know that their average age is 38. Sounds like close to a sweet spot for Audi.

no, they do. There are just not enough of them to sustain sales.

If Audi knows it has a limited buyer base (which i am sure they do) it will do just fine.

Correct -thats why i am suggesting that all editorial control should be with Autoblog and that all other AOL Autos people should answer to them.

I don't understand how this other site and autoblog function under the same corporate roof.

Even if AOL wants to do that full editorial control should be with Autoblog.
