The sad thing is that they are probably still more environmentally sound than many oil companies out there.

I agree that the dealers suffer here as well, and that real people suffer as a result... BUT that is why dealers need to make a business decision BEFORE logging onto Ebay.

If the auction went crazy and the car sold for $60k because a buyer mistyped their max bid do you think the dealer would willingly void the sale? Of course not. Even a legitimate and well respected dealer would keep the money and call the sale a sale.

Sorry - no sympathy here. It sucks but buyer (and seller) beware.

This has happened way too much - its time EBay does something to prevent it from happening again. Suggestion: new disclaimer page that dealers have to SIGN (like with a real signature) when they join Ebay that makes them acknowledge it is a legally binding contract.

Lets put it this way - if I am taking a "spirited drive" and I see the lights come on, I am pulling over and taking my medicine like a man. The AWD doesn't make it any harder for me to run from them, as I am not going to run from a cop. Tickets are the cost of being an enthusiast.

That said, the AWD definitely helps them when they are going after those that would run so I view it as an excellent thing.

Give those guys the best equipment they can get to keep themselves, and all of us, safer.
