I guess I should've been more specific. My PS3 and computer with Media Server software. I'm sure these "bit-for-bit copies" can be done with a computer just as easily and for a HELL of a lot less money. I didn't really say they were the exact same thing either, did I? I'm just saying that there are MUCH better ways to spend over $2500, surely.
@DrrtyMike As a Let's Player, I find these innovations to sound wonderful, personally. Being able to record straight from the TV would save a lot of computer resources that would otherwise be spent on capture cards, recording software, and otherwise, so it really sounds like it'd be a nice investment. You know, if it weren't over $1200...
You'd think with all the money they must have to be in this market, they could at least pour some of that cash into hosting. It takes a good minute to load each page on that site. This is absolutely preposterous!
@FORDY I assume that he makes his posts cryptic so he doesn't steal all the glory from the original source and lets the reader go to the original report if they want the whole story. It's common blogging courtesy really.
There actually IS a Z button. There's a switch to change the L button to the Z button and vice versa. All in all this thing is AMAZINGLY well made. I want one : (
