@#5: you are ignoring the fact that only the kernels released between 31 Oct and 9 Jan were vulnerable. Boxes produced before that were not, and many of those manufactured in that timespan were likely patched before leaving the factory. The total number of susceptible consoles is rather low most probably.

As dpcough points out, the story was a convincing copy of IGN on a fake URL. Regrettably it got picked up before we got to pull it.

Guys! Sacrilege! Robocod was one of the best damn games I ever played on my Amiga. How dare you suggest we wouldn't remember that!
