I think some of the quote "backlash" over this game is a bit over hyped. Cmon that bad? Really? It's different than previous RE's but as others have brought up: Capcom is in a tough spot. Evolve the series or get blamed for NOT evolving the series. Personally I think the developers know co-op isn't really RE, but nowadays so many kids expect, no DEMAND, co-op in every game that if they hadn't included it there would be the obligitory "OMGZ no coop re suzzzzxxx" post over and over again.

I'm always suspicous when DLC comes out too near the release date. (like this game) Didn't the game seen strangley empty of clothing and tattoo/hairstyles? I hope we don't get horse armored to death.

Still though, the ability to play the DLC as co-op even if you don't have it is a pretty good idea.

First of all, I think whoever said this wasn't 100 percent serious. It sounds like someone just brainstorming- trying to think of a new way of doing things. Remember games are only going to get more and more expensive to make and if the second hand market and piracy continue to cut into profits, then we all lose.

I don't know how it is for the rest of the country, but I live near 2 Circuit Cities and they NEVER have games when the sale ads say they do. I don't even bother looking anymore, I just assume they won't have it. Also, CC is always disorganized and the shelves look kinda bare bones.

I'd walk up to those claw games at a carnival and try to make it jealous. "Who needs WHO, now?"

Is this what the next gen console war is? Just everyone taking from everyone? PS3 took achivements from X360, now X360 is taking from the Wii, etc, etc. Whatever. I'm pretty "meh" about this.

Yeah putting this game on XBLA would require some parts of the game to be completely redone. (CD case and the Psycho Mantis' changing controller bit) And I can't see them doing that. Too bad because I would love me some MGS1 achievements.

This is great. I never understood why the majority of stuff on Marketplace are huge files (demos, videos, Xbox Originals) but the XBLA games absolutely had to stay small. +1 for common sense.
