EA is The Consumerist's 'Worst Company in America,' wins Golden Poo
Apr 4th 2012 5:18PM (Joystiq)Totally agree. People have lost their homes and jobs from corporate greed. Walmart treats their employees like dogs. But oh, I hate the ending to ME3, so die EA, die!!111!1
If only it was even possible, I'd say the internet has humiliated itself yet again.

Apr 4th 2012 4:03PM (Joystiq)It would be awesome actually in multiplayer if there were certain areas, like that where firing a heavy weapon would result in explosions that would hurt/kill you and any xenos in the area. So both sides could try and use that to their advantage.

Apr 4th 2012 12:35PM (Joystiq)Wait what? You do understand it's ferrets WITH goggles right? Like actual steampunk goggles and all? Goggle wearing ferrets can save the universe, saving Torchlight goes without saying.
Also...this is sarcasm. That is all.

Apr 4th 2012 12:30PM (Joystiq)Was I? It still shows me with 2 hearts. But I wouldn't be surprised, it's probably just cause I had anything remotely negative to say about D3.
Sadly people downvote here all the time just because they disagree with your opinion. They should just get rid of the downvoting, hardly anyone understands what it's really there for anyway. (Inappropriate, off topic, trolling, flame inducing, etc)
BTW, I'll probably play D3, TL2, and PoE.

Apr 4th 2012 12:03PM (Joystiq)Yeah the animations were ho hum, but I don't play hack n slash games for the character animations, myself. Also there's no cut scenes.
Yeah the item trade in system is odd, and takes some getting used to, how you basically have upgradeable tokens instead of cash. My biggest gripe is how small the back pack is, considering the "money" takes up space.
I LOVE the huge skill tree/spider web. It's really overwhelming and mind boggling at first, but it is so refreshing to actually be able to strategize your character's progress. Plus with the skill gems, you actively gather what skills you can use.
Diablo 3, by contrast, has really streamlined all that, and eliminated almost all the decision making in the character progression. No skill points, no attribute points, skills just unlock, and you choose which of your very small amount of unlocked skills that you will use. It's really sad how few skills you can have active at once in D3. I guess it's probably all to appeal to a more casual and action oriented demographic, but it kinda feels like the soul stone has been ripped out of D3.

Report: Capcom sees 'no distinction' between on-disc and off-disc DLC
Apr 3rd 2012 6:33PM (Joystiq)I agree with you man. Is it a cash grab? I guess that's a judgement that's left to the gaming community, but I think I could just as easily argue that ALL DLC are cash grabs. New flash - what developers choose to include and not include in their games is arbitrary and up to them. You can argue that no DLC should be developed before the game is released, and this be made after the fact to "extend" your gameplay experience, but the reality is they can make that content whenever they choose. If you want them to lie to you and release this content after the game is released, and force you to download all of it, and force everyone else who wants to get in a game with you to download it, I think you're living in a ridiculous fantasy world. At least Capcom is being honest about what their doing. If you don't like it, don't buy their wares, and if you do buy their games, NEVER buy their DLC, plain and simple. If everyone does that, they'll change how they do things, otherwise, they'll just do what companies do - what is most profitable.
