Jesus, I remember playing this as a kid and thinking how amazing the graphics were, now they look like absolute shite WITH juiced up visuals.

We'll see. Games only for Wii U will probably best take advantage of the new hardware, however games that are made for the 360 and PS3 as well may be slightly more restricted to what they can handle, unless a PC version with better graphics is also being made.

I lost faith in Silent Hill after SH3. I want to enjoy the newer games, but it just doesn't have the same effect as the earlier ones. Maybe it's because I was barely a teenager when I first played Silent Hill 2 and was much more easily scared than I am now, or maybe the games have lost the original atmosphere and flare for story-telling that I loved with the first few games. Either way, I'm not holding my breath for Downpour. I want it to be everything a true Silent Hill sequel should be, but I think that time has long passed. I'll stick with the remakes, they'll do me.

We all knew that a new Halo was at least something MS were considering. Will be interesting to see what a Halo game not made by Bungie will be like, and more interesting to see WHO will be/is making Halo 4. My guess would be Saber Interactive, if the rumors about who were remaking Halo CE were true.

This makes me hate Amazon even more for making the app store US only.

As long as they don't use the same map for every single cave in the game, it's a step in the right direction. I mean, a bit of recycling is OK, but DA2 was just ridiculous.

I very much doubt hacking is involved - XBLM probably doesn't hold much useful information and a DoS attack is pretty pointless against a major corporation that could rectify any damage before the users really notice anything. Probably just a technical fault, these things happen, hardware is extremely volatile.
