Maybe he means like howhe appeared in Final Fantasy Tactics.

I think a remake would be nice as long as they stick to it being a remake and not try to improve anything besides graphics and such. It's not needed but would be nice to see eventually.

It's pretty simple. Sony came out with the idea before Nintendo did, but they didn't go through with it because of the risk. When the Wii was released and did fairly well with it's Wiimote,Sony finally decided to go back and finish what they started.
