April Fool's Alert #1: Wii.TV's future Zelda

Apr 2nd 2007 11:15AM (Joystiq)
Are you guys missing it? Zelda always has been futuristic to some degree. You remember the statues that fire laser beams? and what about the spinner, is that not like a hover board, but with more functionality? And what about the Goron Mines in TP, that level of metal working couldn't have been possible until after some sort of industrialization had taken place. And the guy in the bomb shop has a welders mask. And also, the magnetism used with the Iron boots. We couldn't do that with our technology today. Theres so many elements in this game that tell me that while on the surface it may seem like some sort of "in the past" fantasy setting, Its likely that its actually beyond our conceivable future.
