I like Pier 1 and Bombay but did feel they were a bit pricey for the quailty of the item. I would end up at places like Kohl's and Walmart. Kohl's always offer coupons and great deals for the consumer. Peir 1 needs to think about more sales and coupons for the customers.

Where are some of you people getting your stats. 360 out sold dreamcast in like july the dreamcast only sold 5 mil in two years this is just a PS3 wish article because 360 is the fastest selling console in history with the most game attachments. You people are just wishing that the sony glory will last for ever. I just want equal console love, Got two preorders waiting to prove it. pswii60 all the way (the true gamer way) and to anyone who is going to give there own stats back them up with links as facts it would help you not look so ignorant.

I am tired of all this your a rasist stuff. White american people of the day are the least rasist of all races. White people have to be so politically correct it is sick. Why words are so offensive to people is oblivious to me. I see it as a way for other races to control white people. I'm tired of all the reverse racism that goes on in America (affirmative action). Although this is obvious due to the fact that you cannot see one bad reason to get a PLAYSTATION 3 at launch.

Hey SnapperDragon, I feel the same way that you do when it comes to the PS3. There is really no need for Blue-Ray I person HATE how sony tries to push formats. I used to love playstation But now can't afford one because of Blue-Ray. I personly like the Xbox 360 this gen. I will be there at launch for the Wii but feel that nintendo has had a bad habit with hand helds to give you less tech for less cost which has worked for hand helds, but I think it could be bad for them in the console market because it limits the games that can be play on it. If the masses feel that it is silly than it could be in big trouble regardless of price. Just my opinion.

What a joke, I personally think that Nintendo is giving the customer old technology and calling it a great value. They are the only company that is making a profit from the get go. I don't believe I've ever heard of an oil or car company taking a loss on something they sold, so who is really "driving cost to insane amounts."

We had the Sony rep for the entire United States open for questions, on a video session, where I work. when asked the price of the games for the PlayStation 3 his answer was that they would stay competitive, but you may pay a premium for a better game. Not really sure what qualifies as a better game, though I imagine that it does mean you will pay more for exclusive titles or ones exclusively next generation titles, non PlayStation 2 ports that is. Though I get the feeling that he just didn't want us to give customers the idea that the PlayStation 3 was going to be way more expensive than the competition (especially after a comparison of the 60GB PlayStation 3 being about $400.00 cheaper than a Xbox 360 after all the equivalent add ons, to which he was making assumptions on the HD-DVD player beening $300.00, adding another $50.00 for a wireless controller (as if the core did not come with a controller at all) and $60.00 for HD cables.) Just thought that that input would help clear some things up for a few people.

this just one more reminder that America needs E3. I know that so are but I was not even remotly intrested in any of these games. Why does America not have a big gaming convention anymore? The games showen in other countries game convention's are for the people in that region. I am growing tired of jornalist saying that these other Gaming conventions will replace E3 maybe for them but for those of us who don't get to go to them it can't even come close. Maybe someone who works at joystiq can help me understand all this. What is going to happen to fix this problem. I mean America is the worlds largest gaming region, how can we not have a big gaming convention.

It's definitely true that it's just a bullet point. If my facts are correct Sony only has one 1080P television up on the market. That being true how can they care so much if only one of their TVs can do the "true HD" or is it just a way to get you to buy their console. honestly would you want to lose a sale just because of one little thing I don't think so they all have to much riding on this to let even a few sales go to the competition.

I was personally excited about the wii60 idea. although after hearing the price I was not so enthusiastic. this is partly the result of them saying it will be no more than $250.00 and then just making it $249.99 and only including what is the bare bones and what should be a $20.00 game. I feel a little cheated I mean only getting subpar graphics and a sore arm. I will be waiting to actually play it before I get excited and a possible price drop.
