You could also do this in ToT in the last room a few months ago. I'm not sure if it's fixed yet.

You also forgot about the third reason, which was brought up more recently with the whole overcloak scandal at the end of Wrath. Hyping up the overcloak then at the last minute pulling it out because they didn't want people to over look the art that's on every piece of gear when they're just going to place something else over it.

EQ2 has been doing this for a very long time. No one complained about it until now. Although EQ2 most of those items are obtainable through playing the game.

I personally don't think that there was much things to be fixed in the game at launch. I believe that there is a problem with the people who now play the game or the community at whole. XIV forced people to chat with one another in order to get things done. Out of my group of friends who play the game we had no troubles getting what we wanted. But when we solo'd it was pretty rough.

I think people expected the game to be XI but shiny, but didn't get that. So now they're trying to slowly make it into XI-2.

This is interesting. Though I don't see this game type being too nice for this kind of game. The problem with LoL Is that it's too rng dependent and not skill based. The game is about getting last hits in to get x amount of gold required to purchase gear. Whereas other games like Bloodlines I can see something like this work much better then it is here in League. But I would like to see where this is going. And yes, they really need more maps, but you know they can't make money by releasing maps.
