iPhone 2.1 update is out: bug fixes and longer battery life promised

There is a new interface with the podcasts with larger icons and a new "partially listened to" icon next to some of the podcasts that you, well, partially listened to.

iTunes activation server pining for the fjords

It finally [finally] worked for me after endless (-4) type errors. I think that you really need to just sit there and keep unplugging and replugging your iphone.
Good luck!

This Week in HD DVD: the final edition

Feb 25th 2008 8:54PM (Joystiq Xbox)
You should do a new feature called "This Week in HD-DVD bargains" where you find where they sell the cheapest new HD-DVDs. I have already noticed that movies on amazon that were originally full price have since slid into 37% off and just morning, 57% off. I am waiting to buy HD-DVDs for under $10 to really start to cash in.

Fit Links: How not to make enemies at the gym

Dec 6th 2007 7:24PM (That's Fit)
I saw first hand what happens when gym etiquette is not followed. You can read the full story on my blog, but the short version is that when one lady went over her time on the treadmill, it caused quite a ruckus that was humiliating for all involved.

Fartleks along your jogging route

Nov 10th 2007 10:12PM (That's Fit)
Fartleks are great and stride drills are pretty good, but the long run is truely a transcendent experience. Not only is it a great way toget a reall awesome workout in, but you see new parts of your city, have a nice couple of hours to just zone out, and also prove to yourself that limits that you set on yourself can be broken. I had a 19ish mile long run a few weeks ago and it really revitalized my running routine. I wrote about it on my blog, check it out:
