To defend this: M$ specializes in ****ing things up. We're better without copy & paste because just like WinMo, it would probably be super ****ed up. Copying and pasting is no easy task on WinMo.
On my old Omnia I could touch type without looking fairly well with a software QWERTY, and I'm sure the iPhone's keyboard is much easier for touch typing without looking.
