@Crimsic To me it depends on what people are meaning by 'too linear'. Personally it doesnt bother me at all that the cases go in strict order and you accept the new one as soon as the old one is done (it fits with the theme and pace of the game). In fact in GTA missions, the 'choice' you supposedly have in which mission to do is fairly illusory anyways, you cant reach the end of story without doing all of them anyways.

But where the linearity bothers me is *inside* cases, where for the most part you are usually chasing exactly one lead, which opens the next lead/location, etc. Sometimes you get two leads at once and have to go chase down both to open up new leads. So 'detecting' ends up being going from place to place in a line, searching clues or interrogating at each place until you figure out the next place to go to. Granted it is still neat gameplay and very unique, but I hope that as they look at what to do for a sequel, they think about trying to make each case have more options on where to go and ideally branch with multiple paths to find the solution. Benefit here would be more replay value of individual cases.

I got hit by a car in san andreas once (might have been GTA3), and fell through the ground. That'll leave a mark!

I would absolutely use this guitar to fight guitarists fighting demons. Its not that i like demons or something, but those 'hero' guys just need to be put int heir place sometimes..

Defintely the Maw. Of all video game characters, I think he'd appreciate a 'feast' the most..

my heart wants to answer 'nice', but my head looks around at Nathan Drake, Ezio, Kratos, Demon souls, and Ratchet (sorry buddy, you just look shifty), and says i better try and fit in by saying 'naughty'
