Deal: Renew Xbox Live now, get some MS Points
Oct 1st 2010 10:55PM (Joystiq)Oh well, I got the 12 month = $30 deal, so I'm good.
Spend $30 on XBLM in Oct., get $10 in MS Points back
Sep 30th 2010 11:47PM (Joystiq)All of Amazon's $10-$20 game purchase credits in one spot
Sep 3rd 2010 7:25PM (Joystiq)Exactly. I bought Mario Galaxy 2, $20 credit. God of War 3, $10. Metroid, $20. Reach, $20. Fable III will give me another $20. Free Release-Date Delivery with my free student Amazon Prime, and more times than not, MS Point cards can be had for $16.50.
I just wish I didn't take $30 in credit to buy the Force Unleashed special edition...what a waste of free money.

Aug 30th 2010 5:08PM (Joystiq)First Lara Croft DLC pack free for 30 days on Xbox 360
Aug 17th 2010 3:22PM (Joystiq)Prince of Persia (the artsy one) was $60, didn't include dying, and held your hand the entire way through the 6 hour game.
After that, I think publishers are completely justified in charging $15 for a six hour arcade game without online coop, especially when it's going to be added in for free and have a free DLC pack because the coop had to be delayed.
What isn't worth $15 is the three hour-long Limbo. It was fun, but the price is way too steep.
Joyswag: Suit up for Monday Night Combat [update: giveaway closed]
Aug 11th 2010 1:56PM (Joystiq)Listen to Super Scribblenauts in style with GameStop's pre-order bonus
Aug 11th 2010 2:25AM (Joystiq)Exactly. Does anyone else always keep the sound on handhelds turned off?
Even on my iTouch, unless I have headphones and music playing in the background, I keep it off.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will not have online co-op until Sept. 28
Aug 6th 2010 5:48PM (Joystiq)Limbo's good, Hydro Thunder makes me remember how much fun it was on the 64, but Castevania isn't fun, Monday Night Combat looks very clunky and slow, and now this crap.
For titles I thought were good, 2008 had Geometry Wars 2, Braid, Bionic Commando, and Castle Crashers. 2009 had Trials HD and Shadow Complex. 2010 has Limbo and Hydro Thunder, but MNC could still be fun, and maybe LC will have enough content to justify single player for most of us.
Monday Night Combat gameplay walkthrough is full of bacon
Aug 6th 2010 1:34AM (Joystiq)After the disappointment of Castlevania, hopefully Lara Croft can end the SoA well.

Aug 4th 2010 5:07PM (Joystiq)I never played SotN outside of the XBLA trial, but playing a game like that felt best on the small screen.
