Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I thought that you get the free games only for the duration of your subscription.

So say you are not continuing PS+, getting a game free means you would lose it at the end of your subscription whereas buying it for 1 penny on sale would mean you keep it forever.

Ha! When Final Fantasy games mattered, I wasn't even aware of announcements! Dialup internet and only reading about 1 VG magazine per year meant I learned about them when they released!

Seriously though, this really doesn't excite me like bit.trip runner (or any other bit.trip game for that matter). It's all in the art style.

I went last year with my girlfriend, who is not big on video games (likes mario kart and rhythm heaven :P) but enjoys their music, and she paid as much attention to the crowd as to the show. I guess they ARE part of the show, hehe.

Loads of fun though, I'd love to go back and hopefully (wishful thinking) it can be slightly cheaper.
