Holy crap 2 hours dude 2 hours! Wait a Minute I have dodged some things in my life time. Doctor's appointments, test, unsavory characters on a sidewalk; but how do dodge a job where you get paid to play VIDEO GAMES?

Dude the game just came out and I have logged 3hours already. Holy crap dude I hope something more important in your life has arisen and you just had to make a decision between Brink and that. There are some factors that can be taken into consideration. Maybe McElroy has played enough bad games to know not to bother, maybe this isn't his type of game. If either of those are the reason he should have said that from the beginning; even though I get a sneaky suspicion that isn't it.

The reason I say that is; Sister site Giantbomb had the same tone Joystiq did when they were talking about the game doing a video of one of the writers playing it. Same complains about the AI, which really really makes me suspicious, and the campaign.

Once again they judged only the single player. and Deemed the game bad, same as Justin. This wouldn't set off any alarms accept if this game was MW2 or something along those lines the boring campaign would be all but ignored to emphasizes this is a "Multiplayer". Now I am not saying every reviewer should sound the same, but two different sites in the same family network give the same review?

I remember reading something that explained, companies were investing in creating sophisticated puppet programs. Basically these puppets go to sites and post, in the name of the companies they work for but disguised. What made these particular programs so ingenious is that they would create a whole persona with the site including a back ground, and post history.

The idea wasn't to flood the site but to create just enough of a pro corporate stance to make other people seem like dissent or change consumers minds. Just the other day on reddit, G4tv, and gamepro was caught doing something not as sophisticated but essentially the same thing.

So when I come to Joystiq and see people constantly complain about hacking on the consoles, I get a little suspicious. Only game to date I can remember being blatantly hacked was MW, I can't think of any games to date being hacked to death for online game play on the console. So I am going to call Shenanigans, on this Mystical Amount of Online console games that have become unplayable because of "hackers".

Xbox360 has a large amount of online gamers, I don't see MS complaining about this, I don't even hear about this on steam. Why is it sony has some sort of in ordinate amount of Console hackers I have not seen or heard of. I mean there are a metric Shit ton of Rage quit videos, that are current, where are all the hacker videos, that AREN'T modern Warfare.

Also don't believe that cause a couple of blue post on Joystiq says it is; that it is true. The Majority of the Internet is NOT on Sony's side, Sell that load of BS here. But go anywhere else that is not a sponsored game site and you will not get that idea at all. Most people argue that they understand where the hackers are coming from but they don't think their action will change anything, or they argue the moral vs Legal side of this.

Yet when I come to a site like joystiq(and not to single them out) or kotaku, I get, "But Sony's money! I am Tired of hackers ruining my Games, Sony Needs to make Money and online gaming Safe for US!". So this makes me curious, as to how many people here are who they say they are.

Man I am not going to argue, that will run crysis 2. But I wouldn't use that set up, good luck running Crysis 3 and anything after that. This set up seems like a Ploy to sell their mid range cards.

I like how people in here say PC gamers need to shut up and buy a console. Then when the PC gamers are unhappy with the console companies practices they tell them to "Shut Up that company is protecting us!".

A lot of gamers have become corporate whores, they care nothing more than to give their money away. PC gamers aren't saying Cliffy B has to create for the PC; what we are saying is that he doesn't get to tell every other game developer "X" type of game development is the only successful kind because that is what Epic's design idea is.

CLiffy b just told the people who created Torchlight, Amnesia, and most indie developers that your design won't be tolerated if it isn't Freemium, or Big budget Gears of war concept. Either way knuckle under to a corporation: In his world if you must create for the PC you must be tied to Facebook, or some social media company. If you are doing console you must be tied to EA, or UBISOft so on and so forth.

That is why PC gamers called him a douche and a hypocrite; this is a man that got his start in the PC arena, that now tells any other indie developer with an idea to ignore that arena unless they side with a certain corporate model of his design. Thus you are always forced to chase other more successful games, with no room for your own innovation. If you listen to cliffy B you will be copying Farmville to get the people who like those freemium games attention. If you decide you want to go with the big boys, Well you better copy what is popular on the console to get attention there.

Just imagine if anybody listened to that advice, Blizzard better not come out with Diablo 3, Runic should shut down. League of legends, pfft nobody plays Dota, Braid is gone. Nothing is left but Farmville and Shooters, let me guess who does that possibly benefit in the long run? OH YES EPIC and big game companies who have the money to strangle hold the industry.

And this is why you should buy conscientiously, your money should have sense. This is the type of gaming Market Cliffy B would want the gamers to participate in why the hell would you buy their products? Either have Zynga whoring you out Or MS, want free content sure just give up your private info. Cliffy B's idea of gamers is not to marry them its to spousal abuse them.

I knew it was coming, this is how it ends, 2012 Screen Gems and Paul W.S. Anderson create a movie so horrible that a single glimpse causes every living thing on earth to convulse and vomit their insides out TILL DEATH!

People need to start to understand the Big picture. Vote me down if you want to, but the truth is Mark Rein is not anti-nintendo. Sorry but it is the truth; mark rein wants nothing to do with competition.

But.... but.... On consoles yea what! They established themselves early and nobody calls them on the fact that many of their models and games are horribly similar. Jesus Bullet storm a Game I like is only 5 hours long, and has another catchy gimmick like Gears with the chainsaw. Before many of you cry blood and babies, I am not saying the games are bad; I am saying Mark Rein is not going to operate in an arena where he doesn't figure Epic has clear money dominating potential.

He doesn't hate nintendo he doesn't want to chance epics games under performing on nintendo's platform, and he is no different than any other developer. Only difference is he has more say than most in his company. The unreal engine has been used to create Bioshock and mass Effect, some how Epic can't get past Gears and gear of war look alikes.

Just saying from a business point of view what is in it for Mark Rein to produce on the nintendo 3ds when he knows his target audience is on other machines?

This post got a lot of people in it, but you know in the end the only people who are to blame are us, the video gamers. The average movie going public is not going to see Resident evil afterlife; yet some how this movie was made for 60 million and grossed 300 million.

On the fourth movie of the series where we should see some culmination of Alice's powers;(that is if you watched the series): Wesker just happens to have a vial full of Anti-Alice steroids that drop her back down to nothing. Pfft cause why spend money on effects they already got you in the theater you aren't getting your money back.

I have no idea why Uncharted got so much hate, it at least has talented actors. Further more its a treasure hunter story they have to change it, so people don't say Fake Lara croft or Indian Jones. But Resident evil and Devil may cry, pfft you will be lucky if they keep Demons in it. Don't believe me Go look up the movie coming out this year named Priest. Then look up the actual comic it is based off of. See demons would have been expensive, so they went straight to vampires once again the culprit is Screen Gems.

I just want to show that Screen gems is the enemy of action movies. They are the enemy of comics and gaming. They are not on the Rape level of Bay and Transformers but they are getting there. If you must go see A screen gems movie, do it to create the worse possible atmosphere for any other movie goer. When ever somebody thinks of a Screen gems movie, let them link it to your defecating in a seat next to them or something. Because why has screen Gems not be called out by now.

Ask yourself, will these guys put any amount of money into an original fight scene like the kind you saw in MVC3 when Dante squared off against Deadpool?

There is no bones to make about Devil May cry, it is about a stylistic Demon hunter, who is a braggart and a badass. Is their room for plot sure, but when I pick up DMC I want to see fantastic kick ass scenes as Dante laughs in the face of danger. All of that equates to money, and after seeing resident evil I can tell they will refuse to put the money into a movie that will be that grand.

Everyone of their movies are underwhelming trash, From Underworld, to Legion, to Resident evil. They buy rights to something that in the hands of a visionary might be interesting, but in the hands of these guys will just be a quick cash grab as they expect gamers to march to the movie theaters wallets in hand. And if the right amount of people go they don't care if the movie is well done or utter trash they will make sequels as long as dopey fans are willing to fork over cash.
