there are too many to list! But I might have to say Shenmue!! Very good storyline and i loved the combat system on the go where you would be running and without knowing sometimes it would tell you to press a certain button to like dodge things.

Final Fantasy XIV team restructuring, PS3 version delayed

Dec 10th 2010 11:04AM (Joystiq)
wow! it just keeps getting worse for this MMO that i was looking forward to playing since it was announced at E3 last yr. I was in the beta since alpha back in april. Me and a lot of the testers sent feedback on the beta forums of various issues and things we didnt like from the game(UI, combat, levequests, no AH, retainer market, and the list goes on). Guess what? They didnt listen to us at all, they kept everything. Then alpha 2, beta1, beta2, open beta came. Same things were being sent to feedback, they didn't fix or change anything still. They also introduced the fatigue/surplus system which is one reason I didn't like the game much. All of these things made me cancel my preorder for the CE, which would of let me play 7-8 days before regular edition release. Now that the game is live, THE SAME exact things are being brought up on a bunch of fansites everywhere. And NOW, they decide to start listening to their players....what was the whole point for us Beta Testers then? The decision they made even with beta tester feedback was basically, "ah ok, let's just release the game how WE like it, these testers don't know what they are talking about." They did, and now the game is going under. I'd like to play it, but i won't till i see improvements, thats if i even want to play it in the future.

Final Fantasy 14 extends free trial for another 30 days

@DeadlySwordz also personally. i didn't like the 2 day cooldown on leves, the crafting system was like playing a little minigame within FF14 with those 3 options to choose from instead of just picking my pats and hitting craft. and then the fatigue/surplus system was crazy, where you can go as low as getting 0exp off of things on your main class......

Final Fantasy 14 extends free trial for another 30 days

so that's 3 free months total now? geez. they are desperate to keep customers then. I was in the beta ever since Alpha went live back in April i think it was. Myself and the rest of the testers were sending feedback in the beta forums, of all the issues that needed to be addressed. UI, combat, crafting, you name it. Of course server load capacity and crashes were their priority and i understand that. But once that all got patched, the same feedback was being sent to SE again in Beta1 and Beta2 and all the way through open beta.

nothing was done or fixed. it's like they wanted to release the game like they wanted to. this made me cancel my preorder for CE 1 week before 7day retail head start to went on sale. after both CE and SE were released, the same exact issues that us fellow testers were coming up in various fansites, which resulted in people starting to quit.

now that they see a decrease in customers, NOW they want to actually fix these things. why didnt they listen to us testers? who knows.....but now giving 3 total free months so they can patch these things, might be a bit late in my opinion. i was so excited when this was announced at E3 in 2009. i am not sure if ill ever get it now.......
