Jeep Grand Cherokee to get 3.0L diesel V6 in North America by 2013

Apr 14th 2011 2:58PM (Autoblog)
hopefully the diesel engine will be available on the basic Grand Cherokee not just the fully loaded Cherokee. Also if they put the 4 cylinder diesel option as well it would be like the power of a V6 except get better mileage and less Co2 emission maybe not needing urea injection.

SOCOM 4 review: Covert oops

Apr 13th 2011 7:17PM (Joystiq)
ive have been playing the beta for a while and i think it is better than call of duty black ops. I always check the reviews and what not on games but i have enjoyed the multiplayer beta and will definitely buy this game.

Deceit, drugs and detective work come together in new L.A. Noire trailer

Apr 7th 2011 4:23PM (Joystiq)
hopefully they designed it and tweaked it with xbox 360 and PS3 instead of just designing it to work with xbox 360 and then porting it over to PS3.

2011 Nissan Leaf: Pros and Cons of living with an electric car

Dec 17th 2010 9:11PM (Autoblog)
I am pretty sure autoblog' s office is in detroit which is pretty cold this time of year. I would have liked to know if the vehicle John McElroy was using was recharged in a garage or outside. If the vehicle spent the entire day outside in a parking lot while John was at work, if the cold weather had any effect on the battery mileage. Hearing about the little things about the car were good, about how the heater really takes a good chunk of life out of the battery mileage. Would have never have thought that or realized that until, well today as having read the blog. That sort of is a let down because living in a cold region or hot region having heat when it is cold and having cold air when its hot out is something you do need.

Gran Turismo 5 racing wheel teased by Thrustmaster

Dec 11th 2010 9:27PM (Autoblog)
you can buy a steering wheel thats all fine and dandy, to bad the people developing these race games besides gran turismo are not supporting any steering wheels so kinda pointless to even talk about these overpriced steering wheels, i mean $500 for a steering wheel you can play one game with, all set with that.

Subcompact sales fail to impress; Ford Fiesta and Chevy Aveo selling similarly

Dec 8th 2010 6:14PM (Autoblog)
maybe everyone is waiting for the new ford focus, almost close to the same price as a fiesta, couple thousand more. The cruze is similar in size to the focus thats probably what people feel as a standard size small car, and plus they are a big hit in europe because fuel is also more expensive there than in the U.S.

Review: Top Gear USA - the first episode [w/poll]

Nov 23rd 2010 5:23PM (Autoblog)
I watched on sunday and have to say its alright. The thing with the UK version of top gear is that its more than just the cars they play around with. They are jokes and funny inappropriate things they say. There was nothing like that with the American version of top gear which in the first episode is fine but hope they do. The three american top gear hosts didnt seem funny. When they did there testing on their red suzuki and had to stop to make a joke, it was so staged and you felt that. I know you have to not try and compare the two versions of top gear but, it is hard not to when everything is copied from the original UK version. The dodge viper thing could have been funny but, honestly just felt like what it was. You watching a viper getting chased sort of by a helicopter and got boring. The testing of the lambo's talking trash kinda was pointless, would have made more sense if they used them for like what the other top gear does and drives for like 3 days through a few states or countries something. Not just race them down a runway.

GM raises stock prices and increases size ahead of IPO

Nov 16th 2010 4:18PM (Autoblog)
i think GM's stock price is pretty high considering how they just told us not to long ago that they are out of bankruptcy, a lot of surveys asking if "you would buy GM stock" the majority says no.

GM raises stock prices and increases size ahead of IPO

i agree with Nick,
The government would not let major companies go out of business in a bad economy. That would just take even longer to get out of a recession. There are also so many companies that also would go out of business as well if the auto companies died.
