If people will be pissed off either way, let us be pissed off in a way that let's us use our imagination. We already have to use our imagination to guess what our dialogue options will actually turn out to be because of the "brilliant" dialogue wheel, so... who am I kidding, this is EAs Bioware. If it makes sense, they'll do the opposite.
It's okay, Nintendo. You've already convinced me not to buy Wii U, you can stop trying so hard to make me not like you. No one thinks you learned your lesson from the last Zelda demo disappointment, don't worry.
@Chichok Good for you, here's a cookie. I use and enjoy the feature, so go find an article that's relevant to your interests then instead of trolling things just cause you can.
"See, you can't say it is unfair. It is completely fair. Jay has the option of being a man about his show failing, and just quit."
Which has nothing to do with Conan failing and being forced back by NBC.
"Instead, he is willing to take a job which he gave to someone else."
Conan was chosen by NBC years ago to take over, Jay had no choice in the matter. He never wanted to leave TTS. NBC forced him out, but then threw him a bone with the 10pm show to keep him from going to another network, and now that BOTH shows are failing, NBC has decided they want Jay back at his old time. This has nothing to do with Jay being unfair to Conan.
"He knows everyone connected to Conan's show moved to LA."
So he should decline a job doing what he wants to do because NBC is being unfair to someone else? What would he even get out of stepping aside? NBC would still be looking for a Conan replacement, CONAN FAILED. NBC is wrong in that they aren't giving him enough time, plus they screwed with the formula by creating Jay's new show, but Jay has very little fault in all this.
"He knows that his show stunk and all the affiliates wanted him off the air."
One affiliate made threats, maybe 5 more agreed... way to exaggerate. TJLS was exactly the same as Jay Leno's Tonight Show, and millions of us happen to like it. Just because you aren't one doesn't change anything.
"He knows that Conan's show still performs well in the 18-49 demographic."
Which concerns a comedian who was the face of TTS for over a decade and who never wanted to lose it and is now being handed it on a silver platter how exactly? All the professional or even personal respect he might have for Conan doesn't change the fact that rejecting the Tonight Show would NOT help him in any way. He hasn't even done anything yet and jerks like you are making up all sorts of motivations and imagined efforts on Jay's part to screw Conan personally. I understand why a tool like Kimmel is doing it, he see's blood pooling around a competitor and can get in some cheap shots that make him look a bit heroic to some Leno haters, but what's your excuse for so many gross assumptions?
"Jay deserves everything he is getting. He is the example of what people don't like. The suck-up winning, and the person who worked hard getting the kick to the gonads."
Conan hasn't worked any harder than Jay, that's just stupid. Conan has been wronged, but not by Jay... at least, not that any of us actually know. Not even credible rumors, its all assumption by Jay haters. Baww, he did the same to Letterman! Well, no, Letterman was never promised TTS and Jay actually guest hosted and worked his ass off for it, but since Dave was an untalented braggart, it was "stolen" from him. Conan is an entirely dissimilar situation, he was actually wronged, but by NBC brass.
"I'm With Coco."
*Everyone's* with Coco. No one is against Conan except some retarded TV execs. Its not Conan vs Jay, unless you want it to be, which clearly you (and Jay's competitors) do.
Yeah, the show was crap. It would be kind to call this a poor mans Buffy or Supernatural, its so much worse than that. It wasn't renewed in the UK and Glenister refused to come back even if it did (and worse, he has a American /South/ accent, yuck!). So don't expect more after the first series run even if you do somehow enjoy it.
The theme did get stuck in my head though, damn this post for reminding me now its back! *Who's coo-king monsters in the kitchen...* argh!
