The things Apple didn't announce

Sep 18th 2007 8:14PM (Engadget)
Yes, I do have some questions that neither Jobs, nor Engadget, nor anybody else seemed to answer. They all revolve around the international nature of the iPod Touch launch too:

- Is non-English language input support already implemented?
- Any captures of those non-English keyboards?
- Do you get to change input language on the fly?
- Do you get support for east-asian languages, namely Japanese? How does it work?

Sony's Walkman A810 series now loose in the US

It was not Mac compatible in Japan.

However slick and nice the hardware is, it depends on Sony's crappy Sony Stage, for Windows only (no drag&drop to Mass Storage Device supported).

So no OS X for you (which is an incredibly stupidity if you ask me, considering how sales target aside they are quite clrealy opinion leaders).

@37, Tom

> The remaining 5,568 know in their hearts that Xbox360 is the better console, but their xenophobic nature and fierce nationalism make them feel obligated to buy the PS3 for no other reason but that it's a Japanese product and they refuse to see anything good in an American product.

Yes, just like the mobs in Japan that own an iPod, and crowd MacDonalds and Sturbucks.

Get over that argument, please. It is been used, reused, and debunked. Japan LOVES everything that transpires American, but they still have their tastes. Give them proper games (and a proper good marketing campaing, damn it) and they'll take it out of your hands.

The DS figure is not so much how many people wanted to buy it, but how many were on the market.

The DS in Japan has been virtually out of stock since christmas, and if you want to buy a DS in Tokyo in a different day than when the shops restock, I wish you luck.

The PS3's situation is not so dramatic, but stores do not seem to have stock piles of it neither, so that reveals that Sony must STILL have some manufacturing problems, at least to feed Japan.

Rumor: PS3 hardware "slow and broken"?

The thing is not wether The Inquirer is crap or not. Did it state crap or not? Joystiq's did not answer that, and hence it statement was rather lame.

Joystiq poll: Do you leave your game console on standby?

Is there a way to measure how much a gadget in your house is consuming? (like how much my iMac G5 consumes when at full power, or if its screen is off, or if it is sleeping?)

This just proves that if someone is not a comic book artist, it is simply because s/he does not want to…

Film studios set to release Blu-ray and HD DVD titles today

Oh, and what about region locks for HD-DVD. I thought that was not decided yet either… This piece of news is incomplete.
