If you're on a desktop don't even bother downloading it. The start menu is just disappointing and shallow. I have a Windows Phone and i find the Windows 8 UI to be just... lazy almost. I understand that it's a customer preview, but if you're a desktop user just stick with Windows 7. I wish they made a special version of 8 which didn't have the start menu, but included many of the new desktop features (Task manager, copying). Start Menu is useless without touch.
