Hot Seat: Gender in the Administration
Nov 16th 2008 2:43PM (Politics Daily)The same way that Obama wants all different points of view in his administration whether it be Democratic or Republican, there should also be different genders, and this is coming from a guy.
However, if there are several good candidates vieing for 1 position, obviously he shouldn't choose 1 candidate just because it's a woman. I don't think Obama is dumb enough to do something like that the same way Bush did with appointing a Supreme Court judge and McCain chose Sarah Palin. Democrats are smarter than Republicans in this department so such dumb questions don't need to be asked to us.
The elephant in the room here I suspect is Hillary Clinton. She is by far the most qualified candidate man or woman for Secratary of State. She has global recognition and the world overall has a positive impression of the Clintons so she could be key in helping repair our global relations. She should be the first to be offered the position(although i think she would graciously decline). The second in line for that position should be Bill Richardson.

AOL Straw Poll: Feb. 4-11
Feb 4th 2008 5:16PM (Politics Daily)Bush McClone will have the upper hand against Obama in the general election. The Republicans made the mistake of letting Giuliani lose, don't make the same mistake. Vote Hillary.
Obama closes gap with Clinton; McCain surges over Romney
Feb 4th 2008 6:37AM (BloggingStocks)Although I would love to see the 2 join forces, the notion that "hillary needs obama more than he needs her" is totally ridiculous. First of all, she does not "need" him and can beat McCain without him. Secondly she is way too experienced and strong to be his VP, it's not a matter of him not "needing" her, it's a matter of seeing her as a VP would be much too awkward, the best match would be having her as president and the inexperienced Obama as VP.
Hot Seat: So, Who's Leading Now?
Jan 31st 2008 3:19AM (Politics Daily)When you Paulites leave your house and experience life instead of being glued to the damn computer all day, you will realize that real Americans out there are actually hurting as they always are under wreckless Republican rule. The constitution that you people constantly tout was origionally written tilted in the favor of the caucasian male. Yes I respect the constitution but it is not a perfect document and we live in a much different world 200 years later.
I'm a Hillary Clinton supporter and I am sure she will uphold the constitution's principles while fighting for the middle class as well. The Republicans have left us in a defecit from here to oblivion and it is too late to whine about it now. You should have opened your damn mouth 8 years ago. Hillary is the best person for the job to get things done, balance our budget, bring our troops home, strengthen the middle class and get the economy back on track.
Universal Health Care is the new "Social Security" of our era. Many decades ago you Republicans fought vehemently against Social Security and you still do til this very day, except that the majority of Americans approve of this program for reasons that are obviously alien to people like you. Universal Health Care is the new Social Security of this era and it's what the majority want. Affordable Health Care is a fundamental core and moral Democratic value.
There's so much more to life than money. Money isn't everything.
