I admire Desilet's honesty. This is truly one of the main arguments against DLC: that it encourages developers to cut out content from the retail game and sell it after the fact.
With that said, I put in about 16 hours with Assassin's Creed 2, and certainly felt like it was worth my $60 USD. I actually liked how they were able to explain the missing memory segments, given the nature of this universe and the story, so it didn't feel too blatant.
But with all that said, I'd prefer if the two missing chapters were included as one DLC, for around 800 MSP or 1200 MSP.
