Hey Joystiq Community, I have to chime in on this one. I'm not usually someone that frequently comments in the "blog-o-sphere." But the ending to this game is so poor that I had to vent and put it in writing. Disclaimer: some of the following comments are going to be overly dramatic, but I feel appropriately true.

There is no other way to describe the ending to mass effect 3 other than to call it a steaming turd-pile. I'm at a loss to describe this Bioware middle finger to their faithful fans. How can a group of cognizant human beings create and then release that disjointed, inconsistent, mess and think they're fans would be anything but disgusted? The people at Bioware are phenomenal storytellers who have destroyed they're own canon with false promises of diverse endings. Their magnum opus' grand crescendo than falls flat. The use of their surprise plot twist ending wasn't enjoyed when it was in that turd pile movie Contact. What on gods green earth would have lead the doctors at Bioware to use a plot device that people hated the first time they saw it? The execution of the ending was so lazy and lame.

OK, with all that said, I want to submit my theory as to why the highly respected devs known as Bioware allowed this atrocity to occur. I theorize that the folks at Bioware probably had better ideas for the ending in mind many moons ago. Somewhere in the creation and formulation of the me3 story the guys at Bioware realized that with a neat and final ending they would have a hard time selling multiple postmortem dlc packs. My theory may be a stretch but its all I have until i hear the people at Bioware speak candidly and truthfully about what they did.

I think u hit the nail on the head.

Parts of the Demo were bland, boring, and lifeless. Namely the first boss fight, it was literally colorless. I found myself in a boss arena that only had 2 colors (gray and black). Maybe that part was not yet completed but why include it in the demo. However after getting a little further the graphics were amazing. Crisp visuals and popping combat. I'm leaning towards purchasing this GoW clone. Looks fun

Wow, there are so many choices out there. I am looking at gettin the Fallout 3 DLC (point lookout, brotherhood of steel, mothership zeta) all on my 360. I'm also looking at Flower and flow on the PS3. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope I win this awesome competition.
