Kid gets phone book instead of PS3 for Xmas

Dec 28th 2007 5:46PM (Engadget)
There is something fishy going on. The receipt says it was purchased on 11/23/07 for 4499.99, which would make it the 80 GB model. That is not the 80 GB box, however. The 80 GB box has Motostorm graphics and a clear indication that it is 80 GB.

That box looks more like the old 60 GB or 20 GB model which have been long discontinued.

I'll miss the hours of lost time with my daughter, but she'll learn to get used to it. Curse you Bioshock! Curse you!

Thanks bl13, I misremembered. I distinctly thought the form I had only listed the 60GB but I can't check since that's long been in the mail.

The 20 GB is not eligible for the five free blu-ray movies, either, so I'd pass.

Otto Bock's prosthetic C-Leg cleared for battle

Yeah, why bother spending the money for proper body and vehicle armor when you can just rebuild your fodder and send them back out on the front lines.

Seriously, I don't see the US Government footing (no pun intended) the bill for this one when they can't even keep VA hospitals roach free.

Still, kick-ass technology.
