Nov 11th 2010 6:01PM (Joystiq)Several community members have the source code for Legions and have been working on a stand-alone client. IA was going to announce this today, but instead announced their closure.
The future of Legions isn't really known right now. Work could still continue on Legions if the company decides not to sell the IP and just give it to the community.

Jul 13th 2010 9:15PM (Joystiq)I had that same thought earlier. Facebook, like MySpace, will eventually fade away. Relying on their service and it's userbase is silly, because it WILL eventually fail. But that isn't really an issue for InstantAction because they can implement their service anywhere on the web. So if PeopleNetwork.com became the next Facebook, IA could simply transfer over to that network.
