@koehler83 Yep, Plus doesn't apply firmware update automatically at night. I confirm it does do title updates.

I assume Sony doesn't want someone to turn off the ps3 by accident during a firmware update when the display is likely off, and wants to make sure you accept all the new terms and are riveted to the screen to watch that progress bar in case there are issues. I doubt we will ever see seamless background firmware updates on the PS3.

For all the railing you do on Fox News, you should consider getting the information correct. Stop jumping to conclusions.
