Georg Zoeller, I believe the horse armor comment was meant only as a joke, not as an attack on the module. If it was meant as an insult, it was more likely intended as a stab against Atari, due to their financial troubles. Bioware is generally trusted as a company that produces quality, not cheap 'horse armor' level material.
I'll ignore the flamebait... I think Lorben has pretty much nailed it. iPod has no intentions of being a gaming device, and are only offering this as a sort of extra incentive. so for the people who want to play games and own an ipod, they'll have no choice but to pay directly to them; no profit loss to third parties. Although, i'm not sure if this will hurt them in the long run; it's never a good idea to burn bridges.
Hrm... actually i dont see Sims2 being that much fun in the air, unless they plan on allowing people to bring houses/sims in on USB cards. I imagine games on flights to be light little affairs you can pick up and quit just as fast; sims 2 takes time to build a house, job, a family... While i agree with the 'more games to non-gamers' idea, i dont think the sims is the right choice.
