Look behind you, it's Stealth Bastard: Tactical Espionage Arsehole
Nov 8th 2011 2:40AM (Joystiq)I've noticed a few people have issue with the installation.
If you're having issues, install to C:\StealthBastard instead of Program Files. Your lovely Windows UAC is preventing it from creating the files it needs to run.
Please spread the word about this, since it seems to be a common problem.
Thanks!

Explodemon gets new debut trailer
Sep 24th 2010 11:59AM (Joystiq)Before that, the game was started by me, on my lunch breaks, in Nov 2005 as a 2D sprite game. It's been a long road to a self-published release!
Anyway, the story of the game has been so rocky that I started a blog to cover it all. If you want to see just how hard it can be to get a game out there, check out http://www.onebitbeyond.com.

Explodemon prototype videos reveal explosive gameplay, Bangai-O inspiration
Dec 29th 2009 12:32PM (Joystiq)Glad to see you're interested in the game. We've put an unholy amount of work into it over the years. I reckon it's definitely better than you're expecting it to be too!
To clear some things up, this article takes part of my own retelling of the making of the game from my blog. The movies are of the prototype, which uses sprites from other games (including the awesome Pulseman), since initially I didn't want to worry about artwork when making it fun. Later versions used our own sprites.
If you're interested in learning more, then check out the Explodemon Saga at my blog www.onebitbeyond.com. There are playable versions of even earlier prototype builds to check out. As for why we're not on XBLA? That will be covered in a later part of the story...
(...and btw, it's pronounced Explod-uh-mon, like Digimon and Pokemon, since it's a parody of Japanese action games.)
