Well it looks like a new matte xbox slim with an extruding part while the former devkits looked like older pro models with an extruding part.

As far as the "more ram" goes, it probably is just to accommodate the new x360 disc standard which is 1G fatter so the "emulation system" may load the entire new format onto ram.

I'm curious to know "how much" they cost to devs.

I believe that most of the Steam features (except maybe cloud save - and that just arrived on PS3 anyway this week) are present within Xbox Live and that Microsoft is not too fond on letting competing service (Steam is trashing Games for Windows big time) on its own console.

Probably that valve would be happy to be present on every system.

On the other hand, since I pre-ordered the game on Steam on PC will I be able to download it and play on PS3 as well? I know I could on a Mac.
