If you like ads that take up 80% of your screen instead of the features you paid for with xbox live (Netflix, Last FM, etc) then you will love the new dashboard.
I ordered this game because it was something with simple enough controls for my wife to play with me, but with the reviews and comments like this I'm considering returning it for credit at Walmart and getting something else.
I mean come on. The idea that a fully fleshed out tutorial is considered DLC hurts my brain. Free or not.
It would be nice if every Kinect based game wasn't on rails, a so so sports game, or you just standing there grabbing stuff on the screen. More and more I'm just assuming the only use I'll get out of my Kinect is on the dashboard, workout games and when it's just an added bonus to some controller based game (Mass Effect 3, Forza 4, etc).
I would like to just blame hackers here, but it bothers me that Sony's network security is so lax that it allowed this at this level. I understand these attacks can cause problems, but six+ days? At some point some of the blame of such an outage falls on Sony.
It also bothers me that we have to be logged into PSN to use what should be non PSN dependent apps. There just isn't a good reason why I shouldn't be able to use Hulu or Netflix on my PS3 even with PSN down.
This whole idea of giving different in game "bonuses" based on where you pre-order is one of the worst ideas the game industry has had. It's annoying and really seems like more of a punishment than a bonus.
@Naru now in 3D Shadow Complex had acceptable voice acting, and it was far from a AAA game budget wise. It's not like they need to add voice to the whole game. They could have just done the cut scenes. A narrator for the story and game play explanation would have done wonders for this game.
I don't even mind reading normally, but for some reason (In the demo at least) I got really bored during the silent movie/cut scene parts.

Apr 25th 2011 4:23PM (Joystiq)Yes, sorry, when Hulu stopped working I assumed Netflix did as well. I just started using my Xbox for that. Sorry for the misinformation.
That being said... it makes even less sense that Hulu stopped working.
