Yeah, one of the local theaters here has the same thing, it's also great for indie film makers, who can "premiere" their movies in a real theater with stadium seating for cheap.

This is awesome! I bought mine with my "reward zone" card and i'm pretty excited to get $50 for free... yes I understand it's PR by Best Buy, but they're still giving consumers free money which is awesome. For the moment I'm loving losing this war lol, I just bought Planet Earth HD for $25!
I'm probably going to regret it but thanks to the prices my HD library has grown from 6 to 18 movies since HD was declared dead... but I'm probably never buying a ps3, and i can't afford a bluray (not even close) so for now I have no other choice for my 1080 desires :)

Please note I'm not advocating a boycott of Gamespot for revenge or out of anger. It is perfectly sensible for a company to fire a reviewer who costs them advertising dollars, and not unexpected of them, HOWEVER, as a reader, it's only sensible for me to read reviews NOT filtered through advertisers
Since any Gamespot review from this point forward will be tainted with the fear of being fired, there is nothing there for me.
For me it's a practical boycott more than just a moral one.
