Ah suck, I just got Puzzle Quest for DS. :-) I'll take portability over achievement points though.

Just last week, I scored a Dreamcast with 2 controllers at a pawnshop for $20. A long time ago, I came across a garage sale that had a whole box of old arcade cabinet marquees (those light up glass above the screen) for a few bucks each. I am still kicking myself for not buying them.

Damn, they have to package "Cowboys from Hell" with two crap songs... why not just put it with "Smoke on the Water" and "Godzilla"? I guess they have to find a way to get people to buy every pack... Thanks Red Octane... I still won't buy a single pack until the price drops though.

$10 for 10 songs? Dude, thats cheaper than the GHII add on song packs. It looks like an interesting game, but Castlevania would give me more bang for the buck (no pun intended).

Well, the Messenger client has advertising, so I'd assume that Microsoft makes money through that route.

I also have a 95055 guitar in a 95055 box, with no problems to speak of. Sorry for all those with defective guitars. Hopefully RedOctane has learned to have a decent QA/QC team on hand to fix these problems before launch!

The dumb thing about gamerpoints is that they DO NOT cost 37 cents or whatever. You have to buy points in certain bundled packs. If you stick with only buying XBLA games, you'll always be somewhat even. Once you buy a pic or a theme, you're at an odd number and end up spending the rest of the points on other crap to end up even again. From an economical standpoint, the Marketplace people are geniuses.

I would place them with my Master Chief and pink Spartan action figures. They need new drinking buddies anyways, Mr. GI Joe gets gets too boring after retelling the same war stories a hundred times.
