BUMMER! At first glance I thought that logo was for Crimson Skies. Where's our next-gen Crimson Skies Microsoft!?!

@Punkrawk Bbob

When you get right down to it, all this is is Clear Channel stroking their corporate ego. All those artists have most likely agreed to perform either for free or at a reduced fee in exchange for increased airplay on Clear Channel radio stations.

Two years ago, Clear Channel stations ran a constant barrage of ads decrying "the death of variety and free radio" because artists were going to start charging more royalties for their music. Clear Channel said it would result in fewer artists and songs being played over the air. The idea that Clear Channel would complain the it's the ARTISTS causing the lack of variety when it's their own corporate greed causing it is crazy.

By watching this webcast, going to the show or downloading their I Heart Radio app you are supporting corporate greed and fewer and fewer artists on the radio.

@Boring K

Jane's Addiction is the only one I would be interested in. But I have to echo your comments on Clear Channel. They are a huge media conglomerate that has successfully choked out any and all competition and variety in their stations. I live in a radio-market crossover area and get 2 seperate Clear Channel stations, both located about 50 miles away. They are both classic rock and have the same playlist. I don't mean the same playlist as in the same general songs they play, I mean the EXACT same songs only about 2 minutes apart. I can tune to one station and know that when i tune to the other the same song will be playing or about to play.

By listening to this I Heart Radio crap you are supporting the death of variety on the radio.

Rock Band Weekly: Def Leppard 6-pack

My question is, does "Bringin On The Heartbreak" segue into "Switch 625" as it does on the album? That part kicks major ass.

Rock Band Weekly: Soundgarden

Would have been nice to see something off "Louder Than Love" but 2 "Badmotorfinger" tracks will do. Seeing Soundgarden on Saturday in Chicago so this is like icing on the cake.

Call of Duty XP reveals ticket sale timing, event map

So what do you get for the 150 bucks besides admission? In-game upgrades? Avatar items? Anything except the knowledge you are walking around a convention center with thousands of other suckers whose wallets are 150 dollars lighter? Doesn't seem like anything to justify the price

Rock Band Weekly: Ozzy Osbourne 8-Pack

@mywhitenoise, Maybe most well-known to you. Some of us have been listening to these tracks for 30 years (I had Blizzard of Ozz on 8-track!). "Bark at the Moon" is Ozzy's worst solo record and "Mama" is a sappy ballad so I'm glad I wont have to purchase those.

Rock Band Weekly: Nine Inch Nails, Pro Guitar upgrades for legacy DLC

@Indefinite Implosion

You know PHM came out in 1989 don't you? Don't get me wrong, I find PHM timeless but wouldn't classify it as "modern".

That would be great to get some of those "exclusive" GH tracks into Rock Band.

Guitar Hero and DJ Hero DLC supply over after February

Feb 10th 2011 1:47PM (Joystiq)
Rock Band has driven a keytar deep into the heart of Guitar Hero.

Had Activision supported the games with regular DLC and not the sporadic way they released it maybe they could have made a better go of it. The execs thought they had a cash cow and people whould eat up everything thye shoved out the door. Are you paying attention Call Of Duty? this is you future.
