Mar 5th 2010 1:32PM (Joystiq)I don't know about EDGE being biased or not, but I do believe they went into the game with a level of anticipation and expected something in particular from the game. This could have led to disappointment and therefor bias in the form of "this isn't what I wanted/expected".
Either way, I enjoyed my first 15 hours, knowing full well that the game wasn't going to be very open. However, I would also call people who take only the worst reviews as the "truth" as biased or at the very least thick-headed.
It could be that the EDGE reviewer didn't go in with any anticipationa and simply had a very dull experience. Either way, I thoroughly enjoy the game. Have a great weekend!
