And your sources are? I can tell you the iPhone 4 display is the crispest display I have ever seen... I now am disappointed anytime I look at my laptop or iPad display. I wasn't expecting to be blown away by the display seeing that it is a small screen, but boy, the added resolution is really awesome and makes a big difference.

I could not pre order online due to my business account. I first went to the AT&T store at 9am, and went through the pre order process for an hour (after which their computers froze). I went back at lunch to make sure my order had gone through and they still had not been able to check it's status. At 3:30pm, I received a call from AT&T advising me that the order had not gone through and that I could still pre order the phone, but there was a chance it would be shipped after the store got them (by July 5th). I went back to the store at 6:30pm, and completed the pre order. It still seems to have a early pre order number, so my order from the morning may still have gone through after swiping my card in the afternoon. I did receive an email from AT&T telling me my order is in process.

My TV is great at displaying video... but not so great at displaying text, etc...(and I have a big 65" HDTV). Also, I typically have the TV playing in the background while I browse the web, which wouldn't be possible if the TV is doing both. To be honest, the closest ideal net-connected device I've seen is Boxee - what I need is a device that lets me find every net video out there, lets me subscribe to my favorite shows, alerts me when they are about to expire, and also lets me play any local videos. Boxee does allmost all of these things, and if the bugs get squashed, I'll probably buy it... assuming the new AppleTV is not completely awesome, of course.

So, the number 4 network doesn't want to support the iPad/iPhone ecosystem? Their loss - They need the viewers more than Apple needs them.

For this error page to be news, I expected a witty and creative error page that gave a good counterpoint to Jobs' statements. Instead, there is a juvenile Photoshop that could be offensive to users (what if a kid stumbles upon it), and no arguments other than "other browsers can display the page". This error page is ill-advised, offensive, and worst of all, not very intelligent.

I played the original Prince of Persia on the Mac... One of the few good games back in the Mac LC days... Btw, I'll take a PS3 version...:-)

Last I checked, the prices for HD were $1 more than Apple charges (not that I have an Apple TV anymore), most movies had no preview trailers, and the interface was a tragedy. Maybe now Sony will finally get serious about movie streaming...
